The Friday Find: Salad and Spriz

No, we’re still not cooking. Emily is on kitchen hiatus and Liz’s kitchen is in boxes. (and bags, baskets, and on the dining room table for that matter…) But if we were entertaining this weekend, this Melon, Berry and Feta Salad and Il Spriz apertif would be at the top of our list. The salad is a refreshing twist on the standard melon-prosciutto, jazzed up with a dash of lemon, red pepper, and chives. And to be honest, the Mionetto Il Spriz sounds genius – a bottled version of the Spritz coctail from Venice, prosseco with a hint of citrus and herbs. Normally we’re not a fan of mixes, but this one comes with Food & Wine’s seal of approval. Happy weekending lovelies!
