Bon Jour Blog Birthday!

October 19, 2010
by Elizabeth & Emily

Deux Maisons debuted a year ago today with this post: an exposè on Liz’s hatred of raw tomatoes. Her inaugural post was eagerly followed by this post which brought to light Emily’s skittishness about pumpkins and Halloween. Apart from food phobias and traumatic childhood experiences, you have since learned that around here, cheese is its own food group (please see main ingredient in most of our recipes!), texture means everything (from fabrics to foods), dinner parties don’t always go as planned, and co-blogger trips whether they be to Dallas, Houston, or New York make for some great stories and memories! It has been a wonderful year. Happy birthday to us!
